href=\"https:\/\/www.projectgentsintpieters.be\/frontend\/files\/userfiles\/files\/Brochure_overmeers_def.pdf\">Overmeers nature park<\/a> is located nearby. In this area of \u200b\u200bapproximately 7 hectares, you will find wet and dry meadows, forest, and rugged patches of nature. It has been open as a nature and educational park since September 22, 2013. Here, you can fully enjoy the greenery and the beautiful water features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the center lies a large pond, featuring waterfowl and amphibians that feel at home there as eye-catchers. There is also an educational zone with a pool where you can view aquatic life up close. Various plants and animals feel at home in these many biotopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you can spot herons and ducks. We hope to welcome kingfishers to the steep bank of the pond. And in the summer, sheep help manage the meadows.
